AVA Amphitheater is proud to present two legendary Latin music acts, Los Tigres Del Norte and Banda El Recodo, live in concert together.

Banda el Recodo is one of Mexico’s most successful bands. They have performed with such popular artists as Juan Gabriel, Vicente Fern√°ndez, Thalia and Paulina Rubio. Banda el Recodo has recorded an unprecedented 178 records, won several Latin Grammy Awards and has brought its music to the international stage.

Los Tigres Del Norte is a group of Mexican-American brothers who began their recording career in the early 70′s and has enjoyed widespread acclaim over the following decades. They have recorded over 40 albums, earned several Grammy Awards and sold over 32 million records.

Banda el Recodo is a Mexican Banda sinaloense group. Since its founding in 1938, it has been under the direction of the Liz√°rraga family. Banda el Recodo has performed with such popular artists as Juan Gabriel, Michael Concepcion, and Roberto Marquez. The ensemble consists of four clarinets, three trumpets, a tambora: a bass drum with a cymbal on top, a tarola: a snare drum, a tuba (Sousaphone style), three trombones, and two singers.
