Nautical Nation Bio

Nautical Nation, brainchild of frontman James Keith "Jake" Asbury, is an Alternative band from deep in the heart of the Texas hill country. James grew up  singing and performing at his family's music venue, The Lazy Days Canteen. His first years of playing music were in his father's band "The River Rats"  fueling his fire and love for music early on. Over the next 10 years James sharpened his skills and had the privilege of being groomed by seasoned performers.  Over his 4 year career as an original artist he has shared the stage and worked with many renowned artists as well as Grammy Award winners. 

 In 2017 James Keith finished up work on his debut (solo) album , "Dreamboat". The entirely self written album was recorded at Hidden Creek, Alnico, and Orb Studios in Austin, Texas.  James Keith's music is described as eclectic . His voice has a particular rawness and charming freshness that lures you in. Later in the year James added his bandmates, The Moondogs (later Nautical Nation) and debuted at Austin's famed, Paramount Theatre (SXSW 2017) . They then played at San Antonio's San Jose MissionFest for the  Fiesta closing concert. The band performed a mini tour of  The UK & France and returned to headline San Marcos TX - Summer In The Park, as well as support dates for Grammy Award winning artists' Los Lobos, Los TexManiacs, & Rick Trevino including the City of Del Rio’s July 4th Extravaganza with David Hidalgo. This past spring Nautical Nation signed on with Developer Matt Noveskey of Blue October and released their debut EP, Golden Seas, September 7, 2018 following a month long tour in Europe.

Brock Bushong Bio

Brock Bushong is a solo artist from Austin, Texas. He has been writing and performing music for fans all throughout the U.S. since he was 17 years old. He was inspired and influenced at a young age by a diverse range of bands like of Boston, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, B.B. King, Jet, John Mayer, and others. These music idols would later create the foundation for his contemporary/blue eyed soul sound. 

Over the years, Brock found that songwriting was an easy outlet for self-expression, critical thinking and lyrical creativity. His passion for his lyrical poetry allowed him to work with producer Scott Faris of Amusement Park Records and debut his first full length debut album, Aurum at age 20. In it, his music is brought to life with the artful orchestration of captivating guitar solos, melodic strings, and pummeling drums. 

He has shared the stage with many great artists, including Bob Schneider and Monte Montgomery. Brock later joined with drummer and co-writer, Zaman Khan, to form the group Bravo Zulu. 

Bravo Zulu worked with Producer, Rick Del Castillo, on their 5 song debut EP, Origins. The band later moved to Los Angeles to tour the west coast. Brock currently resides in Austin, TX and tours with his bands throughout the U.S.

Someone Like You / Josh Murley Bio

Someone Like You was formed in Kerrville, TX when songwriter and vocalist/guitarist Josh Murley teamed up with drummer and creative talent Patrick McCorkindale. 

Josh has been playing in venues across Texas for 15 years. Bringing his style of Funk Rock Swagger to Texans all across the state.

 In 2014 Josh Murley’s talent was brought to the national stage as he appeared on NBC's "The Voice" where he was coached by both Adam Levine & Shakira getting to the semi-finals. 

With musical genres ranging from progressive/alternative rock to funk, blues, pop, and reggae. Someone Like You keeps their patrons enthralled and engaged with a variety of music. 

They are known for a their unique presence and energetic performances. S.L.Y. wields an ever growing repertoire of crowd pleasing tunes with hard hitting soul.
